Getting started

ScubaTrail is more than a logbook — it’s your dive record plus an open map of
dive sites and marine species.

1. Create an account

Tap Sign up and register with your email. One account works on the web and
in the mobile app; there is no separate forum login.

2. Log your first dive

Go to Logbook → Log new. Enter depth, time, site and anything else you like.
Everything saves as you go.

3. Explore

• Dive sites — browse the map and site pages.
• Species — a growing catalogue of marine life you can tag on your dives.
• Community forum — ask questions and share stories with other divers.

4. Make your profile yours (optional)

In Account you can add an avatar and display name, and choose whether your
profile is public. Everything is private by default.
