
The MV Alpha Funguo is a prominent wreck dive site located off the coast of Diani Beach, Kenya. This 45-meter-long former fishing trawler was intentionally sunk on February 21, 2002, to create an artificial reef and enhance marine biodiversity in the area. 18m-29m
Marine life at this site
Divers can observe schools of blue-striped snappers, barracudas, batfish, and jackfish patrolling the wreck. The structure also attracts larger species like groupers and kingfish.
