Split Bommie, Hastings Reef

The name of this site comes form its many bommies that exist away and split off from the reef. It is located at the southern end of Hastings Reef and offers shallow waters, ideal for snorkeling and beginner divers.

Marine life at this site

You can expect to see clown fish, god schooling pelagics. Friendly black and white tip reef sharks, and up in the shallows, schools of striped sergeant major fish and parrot fish.
