Butterfly wall starts in a sheltered cove with gently sloping stoney sandy bottom down to rocky sandy reef. Turns into a steep wall dive on both sides.

Site is dominated by kelp and large schools of butterfly perch. and some wrasses. Some small black coral can be found on the wall aspects.
