Roatan is characterized by its abundance in Barrier Reefs. This type of coral reef usually runs parallel to the shoreline and divers can experience barrier reefs all around the island of Roatan. More info to come.
Marine life at this site
Large variety of corals, hard and soft: many sea fans, venus and wide-mesh; sea plumes; corky sea fingers etc. Many small fish. The occasional green eels out in the open etc.
